Priscilla was inspired to work with dogs because of their intelligence and loyalty. "I love learning from them and understanding their behavior," she says. It's this deep appreciation for canine communication that makes her such a thoughtful and skilled groomer.
What she values most about being on the Hot Diggity Dog Resort team is the teamwork. "Everyone steps in to help whenever it's needed—it's a true team environment," she shares.
Outside of grooming, Priscilla has a passion for world cultures. She enjoys learning about different countries' history, music, and film—especially from Chinese, Korean, Turkish, and Spanish cultures. "I even try to pick up a few words in each language," she says.
If Priscilla could be any dog for a day, she'd choose a Poodle: "They're pampered, spoiled, and get to wear all kinds of fun and fancy hairstyles. Who wouldn't want that for a day?"
Keri was drawn to working with dogs because of their honesty, purity, and unconditional love. "They make me laugh and lift me up when I'm feeling down," she says. Her favorite part of being on the Hot Diggity Dog Resort team is the uplifting energy of both the dogs and her co-workers. "I also love getting to know our amazing guests and their humans," she adds with a smile.
Fun fact: Keri has an exceptional sense of direction— "I am good at directing and mapst-I always know which way to go". Keri is the go-to person if you ever need to find your way. Whether it's a trail or a twisty back road, she always knows the best route.
If she could be any dog for a day, Keri would choose to be a Golden Retriever: "They're happy-go-lucky and make the perfect family dog—who wouldn't want to be that for a day?"
One of Justin's greatest strengths is his ability to provide a stimulating and rewarding environment for every dog in his care. He recognizes that no two dogs are alike and makes it a priority to learn each guest's individual needs, energy levels, and personalities. His calm presence and thoughtful approach help ensure dogs feel safe, seen, and engaged while participating in daycare or boarding activities.
With a strong sense of responsibility and a genuine love for animals, Justin plays a vital role in upholding the high standards of care that Hot Diggity Dog Resort is known for. His patience, consistency, and compassion make him a trusted favorite among both dogs and their humans.
Maddie has always been an animal lover—"all animals," as she puts it. Before grooming, she worked with horses, but her passion led her to explore a new path with dogs. "I thought, why not try dog grooming? I'm just a big animal lover at heart."
What Maddie values most about being part of the Hot Diggity Dog Resort team is the supportive environment. "I love learning from my supervisors and being able to ask for help without judgment. It really feels like a family here," she says.
Outside of grooming, Maddie is a big sports fan. She played softball for 15 years and still loves watching baseball and football whenever she can.
If she could be any dog for a day, Maddie would be a Golden Retriever: "They're always happy, great with families, love the water, and get along with just about any dog. That sounds like a great way to be!"
Currently studying to become a veterinary assistant, Desiree brings both passion and purpose to her work at Hot Diggity Dog Resort. "I'm incredibly grateful that I get to be around dogs every day," she says. Her love for animals is matched by her dedication to their well-being. She takes great pride in her role and is committed to keeping every guest happy, healthy, and cared for.
Desiree is known for her reliability, gentle nature, and calming presence—all qualities that make her an ideal fit for the HDDR team. Whether she's tending to a nervous newcomer or offering extra snuggles to a senior pup, her compassion shines through in everything she does.
When she's not working or studying, Desiree loves spending time with her own two dogs, Kora and Stella. You might also find her jogging through her neighborhood, soaking up fresh air and a bit of sunshine.
Her blend of warmth, responsibility, and a true love for animals makes Desiree a valued part of the Hot Diggity Dog Resort family.
Monique finds fulfillment in knowing that she plays a part in creating a safe, calm, and fun environment for every dog who walks through our doors. Whether it's a gentle bath, a comforting cuddle, or a cheerful hello in the lobby, she's always focused on helping dogs feel loved and secure.
Her passion for animals shines through in everything she does. Dedicated, observant, and compassionate, Monique is committed to giving each guest the best care possible—treating every dog like family.
Her favorite part of being on the Hot Diggity Dog Resort team? The teamwork. "Everyone is so kind and always willing to help one another," Marianna shares. She thrives in an environment where support and collaboration are part of the culture.
A fun fact she loves to share: Dogs have as many as 300 million nose receptors, compared to only about 5 million in humans. It's just one of the many things that makes dogs so fascinating to her.
If Marianna could be any dog for a day, she'd choose to be a Pit Bull. "They're known to be some of the sweetest dogs ever," she says. "They're strong, fun, loving, and incredibly loyal." Marianna's warmth and passion make her a perfect fit for the HDDR team, and the dogs clearly agree.
As the Front Desk Coordinator, Maggie enjoys being part of a team that truly supports one another. "Everyone works together and looks out for the dogs, their humans, and each other. It's a great environment to be part of."
A fun fact about Maggie? She's a huge baseball and softball fan. A loyal San Diego Padres season ticket holder, she also proudly cheers on her daughter, who plays college softball.
If she could be any dog for a day, Maggie would be a Black Lab: "They're sweet, loyal, love to run, eat, and play ball. That sounds like a perfect day to me."
Her favorite part of being on the Hot Diggity Dog Resort team is the teamwork. "It doesn't matter if you're in grooming, daycare, or reception—everyone helps each other. We've got each other's backs."
Destiny also brings a spark of creativity to the team. In her free time, she makes playful, handmade jewelry. "I love creating pieces that make people smile or laugh—like earrings shaped like tiny snacks, quirky charm bracelets, or necklaces with silly sayings. It's my way of spreading a little joy."
If Destiny could be any dog for a day, she'd choose a Shiba Inu: "They're clever, independent, and just the right amount of sassy. I'd strut around like I own the place—and if something annoyed me, I might just scream like a banshee!"
